Snow will pick up throughout the day in New York and New Jersey, and cold temperatures will create icy roads. New York City is under a travel advisory on Sunday as the city prepares for temperatures under 35 degrees with up to five inches of snow accumulation.
Wind chills will remain at least as low as the teens throughout Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
