Distracted driver collides with Michigan State Police cruiser at Detroit intersection, troopers say
A driver who was texting while driving crashed into a Michigan State Police cruiser at a Detroit intersection, troopers said.
State Police issued 816 tickets for texting-while-driving during the Thanksgiving holiday. 330 of the tickets were issued as part of “Operation Hang-up,” an enforcement campaign conducted Nov. 23-27.
